How To Hide Any File In JPEG/Picture

This is a very useful tutorial in which you can use to send information to your friends secretly. In this tutorial, i will teach you how to hide any of your files behind the JPEG image. Also its different from stenography as it does hides text behind images or text behind mp3 files. Its universal, you can hide any file, Videos, Audio, virus or Trojan or anything behind image using this trick.

Follow the steps below carefully:

You will need two files - the file you want to hide and one jpg image - it can be of any size or dimensions. [If you want to hide multiple files in one jpeg image, just zip them into one file]

1. Create a folder into C drive (recommendation is that use this C:\Hidden).
INFO: You can Open My Computer > Click on C and then Create a New Folder there and Name it Hidden.

2. Now gather all files that you want to hide in this folder.

3. Now add all files you want to Hide to a compressed .rar file using winrar
(example: myhiddenfiles.rar ).
INFO: This rar file should be in the same directory (i.e. C:\Hidden)

4. Now Select the JPEG file that you want to use to hide the above content
(e.g myimage.jpg). Put this image file also in the same folder that is in C:\Hidden

5. Now, open Command Prompt (Go to Run and type ‘cmd‘). Make your working directory C:\hidden.

(When you open CMD you will get like C:\Documents and settings\username (something like that....)

Now type cd.. and press enter and then again type cd.. and press enter. Now you have something like this in cmd C:\ . Now in front of that type cd "Hidden" and press enter. )

6. Now type: “COPY /b myimage.jpg + myhiddenfiles.rar outputimage.jpg” (without quotes) - Now, myimage.jpg is the picture you want to show, myhiddenfiles.rar is the file to be hidden, and outputimage.jpg is the file which contains both....

7. Now, after you have done this, you will see a file output.jpg in C:\hidden. Open it (double-click) and it will show the picture you wanted to show. Now try opening the same file with WinRAR, it will show the hidden archive...

How To SpeedUp My Computer

You may want to ask me how do I speed up my computer? You get frustrated when your computer is very slow at work. You can now save yourself from aggravation especially when you are very busy working. Below are some steps to take to speed up your computer.

1. Do Disk Clean Up at least once every two weeks. Go to start>accessories>system tools>disk clean up. It will analyze your disk and will generate reports. Try to files from the recycle bin and the files located in the temporary files folder. Do not compress files i avoid it but it is your choice.

2. You must try to Defrag your computer at least once every two weeks . Go to start>accessories>system tools>disk defragmenter. Just defrag it even if it reports you don’t need to.

3. Delete all files (temporary files and cookies from the computer). Here’s how: open your browser. On top of the browser click on tools>internet options>delete files and then delete cookies. Make your history set to (0). Others want it on at least 10. I always set mine to (0).

4. Clean up your program files, delete and uninstall unwanted programs on your computer. Go to control panel>add remove programs. Make sure you restart your computer after uninstalling or removing the program so that complete deletion will take place.

5. You have to be very careful in installing or downloading programs. Make sure you need it, if not please just avoid it. Uninstalling them is really hard. Many vendors has all the power to have their program stay in your computer. You must always have a strong Antivirus installed on your Pc!

6. Run anti-spyware programs. I trust , Spybot search and destroy and the Ad-Aware from Lavasoft. I do immunize them before I do the entire program to run. Make sure you run adware every week after you run spybot search and destroy.

7. Always turn on your firewall. I suggest you have only one firewall and one antivirus. It is a very bad idea to have two Antivirus Running at the same time on your Pc.

8. Avoid avoid opening too many programs all at the same time running at the task bar.

9. Run complete scan using your antivirus software at least every day . It is safer to run Antivirus scan everyday.

10. You can also get a dual hard drive , one for the operating system only and the other for all the programs, database and files. Or partition your drive into two. This way, the computer boots on one hard drive. You can also Check BackUp

11. Always make sure all devices are properly functioning. Go to control panel >performance and maintenance >system >hardware >click on DEVICE MANAGER. You will see all the devices and adapters available on your computer. Make sure you don’t see a yellow question mark (?) or this means there is an error on that device or adapter. If so, you need to update it or install the right drivers. Updated firmware might also be needed.

12. Also check the performance of your computer when connected on the internet. Go to control panel
>network and internet connections >network connections >right click the mouse on the connection available (e.g. local area connection “connected”, “firewalled”)>click on “STATUS”. Make sure on the status tab, you will see the speed . The packets sent and the packets received must not have a very high difference. If it is sending too much packets, then you have to disconnect and reconnect.

13. A memory of at least 512 RAM might be a good idea installed on your computer.

How To Format a Computer Using a Windows XP Disc

The word Format can mean quite a few things in the world of computers. You could format text in a word document, have a different file format, or in this case, format the hard drive in your computer. Sometimes you need to format your computer to ultra clean your computer. It makes it faster, new looking and gets rid of errors and viruses.

However before you do format a computer you should backup your data. Some things to backup include: photos, my documents, favorites folder, emails, all contacts, passwords and more…

Windows XP disc is bootable and really does everything for you. (Well nearly) This means that when you insert a Windows XP disc into your computer, it should start automatically.

Next is to make sure you have a system disk that came with your computer for display drivers, LAN drivers, USB, audio etc. If you do not have this there is a program called Driver Robot which find your drivers for you after you have formatted…It is a lifesaver. Its a must have program and saves you a load of work. Even after it is has found your drivers it will also keep them up to date later on.
If you do not want to spend money you will have to find your computers drivers on the internet and download them manually. Drivers are one of the most important tiny bits of software that will make your computer run like its meant to.

Now lets move on to formatting with Windows Xp.

1. First you must Put on your Computer and enter your computer setup eg{F1,F2,F10,dell}.
2. Make sure you set your Cd/Dvd Rom to first boot and your hard drive to second boot and Save and exit.
3. Then restart,
4. If it doesn’t ask you to press any key to boot from cd then restart your computer again.
5. A blue screen will appear and you are on your way..format Windows XP
6. Press Enter to setup Windows XP now.

7. If there is a copy of Windows XP on your computer and you wish to overwrite it you will have to press the escape button when prompted.
Windows XP in another directory unless you know what you are doing. Just overwrite the previous version as you should have backed up your data anyway.

Format Windows XP cd
1. You should now make the partition that had windows on it blue and press D to delete the partition. It will ask if you are sure. Press L to confirm.
2. Then Press C to create another partition and Windows will estimate a size for you. If you wanted to partition your hard drive into two equal parts you would have to do some math’s and then type the appropriate number in. Otherwise just going with what Windows puts there will be the minimum partition size.
3. Press Enter to confirm size.
4. Then it will ask you which partition you want to install Windows on. The default is C: drive. Select this by making it blue and press enter.
5. If there are no partitions it will create one for you.
6. Then it will ask you to format quick, normal, in fat32 or NTFS. Fat32 suits older computers so I choose a quick format with NTFS for newer computers. Quick or Slow is fine. If you had errors it is better to use a slow format which can also be known as a low level format.
7. From now on you just Follow the prompts and let it go..
8. The computer will restart and it will try to boot from cd again…Do not press anything on the keyboard.. Just let it go through the stages of setup. You only press the ANY KEY at the start to get it to boot to the Windows XP cd.
9. Make sure you have your serial number ready to enter in. This can be found on your coa certificate which is a sticker usually put on the side of your computer or you can check on my post on serial keys
10. Do not remove the Windows XP CD until the computer has started up with a new desktop and icons.

Is this worth ignoring? I don’t think so! Anything you can do to avoid a computer virus has to be a good thing and is well worth spending your time on. So am going to share with you some tips on preventing your self from Viruses

1. The first thing that I recommend is to research and become knowledgeable about viruses. How can you protect your computer from viruses You should now know what they are from my recent post on What are Viruses
2. Make sure you get yourself with the best Antivirus software to suit your needs. Not everyone can get away with using free antivirus software because it depends what you do on your PC. It depends on factors such as if you download or not, if you open email attachments, and if you surf suspicious websites. If you don't have a good and strong antivirus for your computer, make sure you download one now
3. Having a good Antivirus program installed on your PC to protect you from viruses is great, however if you do not regularly update the Antivirus, then the program is useless. Viruses are produced daily and this is why you have to update your Antivirus .
4. When surfing the internet avoid websites that contain illegal software downloads, sexual references, free screensavers, cracks or serials, etc. I am sure you get that. If you go near these sites your PC is in a big danger.
5. Always update Windows. These updates contain security updates that will help in your fight against viruses. If you do not perform regular Windows updates you are leaving your computer in a vulnerable state.
6. Be careful when opening emails. Am not saying you shouldn't send email but do you know if the mail sent to you contains viruses? Just make sure your Antivirus works well and know the kind of email you open and read.
7. If you are really serious about protecting your computer you can change your email settings and receive text emails only. You can also disable the ability to open email attachments. Virus travel in HTML enabled emails and file attachments. They cannot travel in text email messages.
8. Do not use peer to peer (p2p) file sharing programs. These include programs such as Limewire, Bearshare, Gnutella, Morpheus, Torrents, etc. These program let you download files from other computer users connected to their program network. You have no way of knowing what you are actually downloading until it is on your computer. Even if you share files from a cd from a friend, it may have a virus.

I guess all this should help you against any kind of Viruses

What is a Virus and how do I know if I have one?

A virus is a small program that gets into your computer undetected in order to cause havoc. This small software program has either been developed because the author enjoys causing disasters and problems for other people or sometimes for money making. Sometimes a virus is packaged in a file that is called a Trojan virus. It is disguised as something else, and once it has gained access to your computer it then releases its intent.

The most common way to be infected by a virus on your computer is on the internet, Most people always go online doing somethings they shouldnt be doing, like downloading videos, music, opening emails downloading illegal cracked software, downloading files which may be named to deceive you and visiting a bad website.
Am not saying you shouldnt download or visit websites, what am trying to say is that, to do the above listed, you MUST get a VERY STRONG antivirus for your computer which will help you againt any kind and any form of viruses on the internet.

How do I know if I have a virus or not?
If your computer has been infected with a virus you will quickly see odd signs that it exists. Weird things start happening that you cannot explain. Files might move around, odd error messages may appear, programs might start to fail. For example if your virus scanner program stops working then it could have been disabled by a virus. With all this action taking place in the background your computer will also start to run slow and seem like it is busy all the time and when surfing the internet you might find that you will not be able to visits the pages that you visit with ease before.

Can a Virus affect my computer hardware components?
Most People thinks that viruses can only damamge the computer"s systems files, the software aspect in perticular, which is not the truth What if a virus is designed to damage your systems Basic Input Output System{BIOS}, and the BIOS is a CHIP on your computer which is a part of your computer where all the computers Input and Output sytems of the computer is configured and the BIOS is completely made up of all your computers component sofwarem and BIOS controls the temperature of the motherboard. How to Connect Two Computers With One Modem

Do you have a broadband modem?

All you need are.....
1. Two computers to connect to one modem.
2. A modem similar to the one pictured above.
3. An Ethernet cable and a USB cable.
4. An installation CD to install through USB connection

Now lets get started.

You can connect two computers to a modem with the help of a broadband modem and you can get one from your internet service provider (ISP) and this can be done without the need of a router. Your ISP must provide you a installation disk for the modem.... You can take a look at the picture above to see the kind of modem am talking about..
One can be connected through the USB port and the second computer can also be connected through the Ethernet. A USB cable and Ethernet cable should always come with the modem, however to connect the second computer you may need to get a long Ethernet cable. Get a blue cable.. NOT yellow or red. The blue one is a Crossover cable and the others will be the Patch cables. They have the same connections on them but do different jobs.
To connect a computer to a broadband modem through USB, it is recommended that you make use the of the installation cd. It will ask you to choose how you want to connect and you select USB. Make sure you know your user name and password for your internet service provider. To connect the second computer to the same modem through the Ethernet, just plug it in, It usually works straight away. If it does not, use the installation cd, but choose to connect with Ethernet....
This is a phenomenon i practiced and it works and I guess this should help you too on how to connect one modem to two computer.
